Hand in Hand handles everything you need to make your medical travel comfortable and as stress free as possible. So you can concentrate on your recovery. We will help you prepare for your journey, we will be by your side in Israel during treatment, ensure you get some leisure time while you recover, and will tie up the loose ends on your return home.

Before you leave

• A single point of contact - throughout your dealings with us, you will be looked after by one agent who will know and understand your condition and your needs. Ensuring shorter waiting times, faster response.
• Medical arrangements - We will liaise with your personal physician, receive all medical records and ensure they are transferred to the relevant people at Hadassah Hospital. We will then follow up; collect the medical report prepared by the Hadassah specialists and return the information to you within 72 hours.
• Travel Documents - We will help co-ordinate special travel documents such as Visa's or special travel approvals.
• Flights & Transfers - We will prepare a detailed itinerary of your travelling options, co-ordinated to co-inside with your required arrival date for Doctors consultations and treatment, as well as transfers from the airport to your hotel or hospital as required.
• Medical flights & Transfers - If required we can arrange private flights, transportation by medical helicopter and an ambulance for hospital transfer upon arrival.
• In flight medical equipment / staff - can be arranged as required.
• Medical appointments - these will be pre-arranged, in coordination with the hospital. All consultations and treatments including times and locations as well as travel to and from will be arranged by Hand in Hand. You will receive a written schedule of all arrangements.

In Israel

• Personal escort - You will be met at the airport by one of our multilingual staff, who will handle all aspects of your travel from the airport to the hotel check-in or hospital registration. Your escort will be familiar with procedures at Hadassah Hospital.
• Personal medical escort - A medical escort or nurse, who speaks your language, can be with you throughout your treatment. This way you will have help in communicating and understanding your doctors and medical staff.
• Accommodation - We offer a range of hotels throughout Jerusalem. You may choose to be close to the hospital, or closer to some of the great sites of the city. Hotels or serviced apartments are available in a range of rates to suite your budget.
• Leisure time - Depending on your state and condition your leisure time can include visiting family, shopping or guided sightseeing trips in Jerusalem or throughout the country - All arranged and coordinated by us.
• Your Family - We know they won't want to disappear for too long, however while you're receiving treatment they may enjoy getting away from the hospital for a short trip to a museum, cultural event, shopping centre or restaurant.
• Additional facilities - Should you or your family require, we can arrange: car, laptop computer and/or cell phone rental.
• Departure - Your escort will accompany you to the airport, through baggage and passenger check-in.

Back Home

• Documentation - After you have returned home we will maintain contact, to ensure all the loose ends are tied and your physician has received all required documentation for your ongoing treatment.
• Insurance documents - we will liaise with your medical insurance company to ensure a smooth processing of your treatment and payments.
